Excursions

The Rheingau region extends from Wiesbaden to Rüdesheim to the east of the Rhine. Your first stop will be Kloster Eberbach, a former Cistertian monastery.  It was here that the indoor scenes for the film "The Name of the Rose" were made. Rüdesheim is just a short ride away. A guided city tour as well as a ride in the cable car to the Niederwald monument are on the programme as well. A stroll through the famous Drosselgasse lane will round out your excursion.
